A lot of people focus on the bad things around them and on the terrible actions individuals are capable of doing. Worried that the world is constantly getting worse, they overlook the good things that happen right next to them. Yet every day, ordinary people perform extraordinary and selfless acts but don’t brag about them.
In this installation Jennifer Baumeister asked random people to anonymously write down a good thing they did for somebody else without wanting recognition.
The work is on-going during the Skibbereen Arts Festival 2018 in the Glebe Gardens where every visitor is very welcome to contribute, help the installation grow day by day and make people aware of how much goodness is right beside them.
